Toilet Training

When you get a new pup, how would you go about training it with regards to peeing and pooping?

Some folks prefer training their pet indoors by using either newspaper or pee tray. However, some prefer that their pet does everything outdoors.

There is no right or wrong in either way. However, we always recommend that families allow the pup to do it both ways.

Why? Simply so that the pup does not need to wait for hours before being brought out for walks to relieve itself.

In our line of work, we’ve seen numerous cases of dogs coming down with UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) due to sometimes, the ridiculous amount of hours waiting before the pet goes out to answer mother nature.

As a dedicated owner, you might say that you bring your dpg out 3 to 4 times a day. Yes, that’s great… but what about when it rains heavily for hours or days?

Most dogs don’t like the idea of going for walks when it’s wet and cold outside, much less the owner.

And even when they do go for walks during these times, the owner would usually rush the dog to go quickly. This in turn, can really stress the dog out.

And of course, there may be times when you just can’t rush home in time to bring your dog.

So here’s just something for all owners to think about. Why stress yourself and your dog out when you can have the best of both just by training it to go indoors and out?
